Aluminum Tape Layer Stranded Loose Tube Outdoor Cable GYTA

Description

The cable consists of fibers placed within a loose tube made of sturdy plastic, with a water-resistant filling

compound. An Aluminum tape, sometimes covered in polyethylene for high-fiber-count cables, serves as a

central metallic strength member. The tubes and fillers are arranged around this central member to create

a compact, circular cable core. The Aluminum tape, applied longitudinally over the cable core, safeguards it

from water ingress. Finally, the cable is finished with a PE sheath.
